Echinodorus Small Bear is a very pretty, uncomplicated aquatic plant, also highly recommended for beginners. Echinodorus SmallBear belongs to the family Alismataceae. The hard-leaved plant is also suitable for aquariums with cichlids or emersed for a paludarium.

The aquatic plant has medium light requirements. Echinodorus Small Bear feels comfortable in a pH range between 5.8 and 7.5 in soft to medium-hard water. The water temperature should be between 18 and 32 Ā° Celsius. It is therefore also recommended for discus aquariums.

The red color of the leaves becomes stronger the more light is available to the plant. Echinodorus Small Bear grows medium fast and thanks a CO2 supply and a good supply of nutrients with a particularly beautiful leaf color! The height that can be achieved is approx. 25 cm. Propagation takes place via offshoots and rhizome division.
