Neo Media Premium is the world's highest quality filter media

Neo Media Premium is manufactured at high temperature using
natural materials produced in Korea.

	Surface area : about 3,200 ㎡/liter The filter medium must provide a large space for a variety of bacteria to live. This is because the filtration space is limited and the filtration efficiency must be maximized in the limited space. The number of bacteria that can be cultured is proportional to the area.
	Various sizes of pore Pores of various sizes provide a space for a variety of bacteria to live, and these bacteria create a bacterial ecosystem inside the filter media. The bacterial ecosystem built inside Neo Media Premium keeps the filtration cycle stable.
	Smooth flow of water Based on the technology of Aquario, we created a fine but unobstructed pore inside of Neo Media Premium. This allows the water to flow smoothly into the deep interior of the filter media and provide sufficient nutrients and oxygen to the nitro bacteria.
	Pellets that promotes nitrified bacteria The pellets enclosed in this product provide the ingredients required for the reproduction of nitrifying bacteria upon contact with water, ultimately facilitating the rapid reproduction of nitrifying bacteria.

Neo Media Premium offers three types of slightly acid, neutral pH and alkaline, so it can be selected according to the tank environment.

SOFT : pH Slightly Acidic

HARD : pH Alkaline

Most of the filter media on sales have alkaline properties.
However, Neo Media Premium PURE is a true neutral filter material and has little effect on pH.
Therefore, Neo Media Premium PURE does not raise the pH of a slightly acidic fish tank, and does not lower the pH of a slightly alkaline fish tank.
It is suitable for all fish tanks such as aquatic plants, shrimp, South American fish, cichlid fish, seawater, and coral

More fine pores than before

While many existing filter media create pores with gases from a chemical reaction between calcium carbonate and acidic substances, Neo Media creates pores by baking it like a ceramic bowl at very high temperatures.

Neo Media became lighter through major process improvement. The lighter weight of the filter medium means that it has more pores compared to existing products.

The premium version ups the ante

I used the standard version and was very happy with it. This premium Neo Bio Media Pure has the same good qualities as the standard version - high porosity, high through flow and good structure for BB. The improvement is in the shape of the premium version - Aquario has managed to increase the surface area per same unit volume, so there is more surfaces for BB to colonise. In real terms, I managed to squeeze more than 2 L of the premium media into the 3 media trays of my Fluval 207. The same 3 trays could only contain at most 1.8 - 1.9 L of the standard media. This translates into about 15% more surface area for BB to colonise.

I tried to squeeze as many as possible into my Fluval 207 - I was able to squeeze in a bit more than 2 litres into the 3 media trays! Compared with at most 1.8 -1.9 litres of the standard into the same 3 media trays.
