Name: Pinguicula 'Florian' is a hybrid of Pinguicula 'Debbertiana and Pinguicula. 'Esserian'. The common fat plant was registered as a variety in 2004 and is named after the breeder's eldest son. . Pinguicula 'Florian' produces leaves that turn an intense shade of red under strong light.
Color and size: The mature plant reaches a diameter of up to 1 cm. The color of the leaves can vary from light green to dark red, depending on the intensity of light.
Light: The plant prefers partial to full sunlight or the equivalent of growing light, illumination 16 hours a day.
Substrate: The best results are achieved in the substrate recommended by Aqua Art.
Feeding: The plant loves bedbugs, dried earthworms, fish food.
Humidity: Ideal humidity is 50% to 80% with adequate airflow. During the insectivorous phase, sufficient distilled water should be provided to keep the media moist. Reduce watering and allow the medium to dry regularly, when a juicy rosette begins to form, use Tropical Rain for watering.
Temperature: The plant grows well at temperatures between 22°C and 29°C.
