The alternative for everyone who wants to feed animal protein but not beef. No, discus do not eat turkeys in nature either ... but as with cattle hearts, it is not about creating conditions for the animals that are as natural as possible, but at least providing them with the best possible feed so as not to expose them to natural selection pressure.
Just as with beef protein, in the case of turkey protein, only those parts are processed that the discus can actually digest, because, for example, the collagens cannot be broken down. If fed to a large extent, these can even damage the fish, for example by depositing the collagens in layers on the intestinal wall and thus creating a perfect environment for unwanted parasites to reproduce. The water pollution of "Turkey Heart Soft Granulate" is many times lower than it can be the case when feeding frozen food proteins. In addition, there are the advantages of storage, dosage and longer shelf life compared to frozen food.
The softening of the granules is a special feature that increases the acceptance and digestibility of the feed even further.

Feeding recommendation: Feed 2-3 times a day as much as the fish will eat within 2-5 minutes. Do not overfeed the fish!
