Plant name: Pinguicula 'Tina' is an interspecific hybrid that is the result of crossing two different species of insectivorous plants. It is a plant with large, juicy leaves that resemble lettuce and can grow to a considerable size. It produces beautiful, long-lasting flowers with intense color. Pinguicula 'Tina' is easy to grow and does not require frequent repotting, making it an ideal choice for plant growers of all experience levels.

Color and size: 10-15 cm in diameter. The color of the leaves can vary from light green to green, depending on the intensity of light.

Light: Partial to full sun or rising light equivalent

Substrate: Recommended substrate from Aqua Art

Feeding: Bedbugs, dried earthworms, fish food.

Humidity: Ideal humidity is 50 to 80% with adequate airflow. During the insectivorous phase, sufficient distilled water should be provided to keep the media moist. Reduce watering and allow the medium to dry out regularly as a succulent rosette begins to form. use MistSpray from Aqua Art

Temperature: The plant grows well at temperatures of 22°C -29°C

Dormancy: Technically none, however the carnivorous leaves are replaced by a smaller succulent rosette for part of the year. The plant may stop growing if the temperature or humidity is too low

Packaging: The plant is sold in a practical container, which not only ensures safe transport, but also constitutes an attractive display in the store. Thanks to this, the plant is ready for presentation immediately after delivery, which makes it an ideal choice for stores looking for convenient and aesthetic solutions. The container has been designed to protect the plant during transport, and at the same time allows for easy positioning and presentation of the product on a store shelf.

Growing container: The plant grows best in a dedicated Micro Terrarium growing container from Aqua Art, which is easy to clean and maintain. Thanks to the Micro Terrarium, breeding carnivorous plants is easy and enjoyable

We store the plants at a temperature of 22-23 degrees with gentle access to light.
