RED STAR LUDWIGIA
Another fabulously coloured Ludwigia is Ludwigia glandulosa. Intense red stems become apparent during emersed greenhouse cultivation. Submerged leaves are claret on both the upper surface and underside. This variety does not have as many branches as other Ludwigia varieties, which is why we recommend arranging the stems in rows. These plants must have very good lighting and an adequate supply of CO2. Ludwigia are best displayed in combination with light green plants.
