Care at a glance

Give it moderate to bright lighting and a nutrient-rich substrate. Regular fertilisation and CO2 will push faster, denser growth, though it will settle in without CO2 at a gentler pace. Trim the tops as it fills out and replant the cuttings to thicken the group.

Good to know

Like most tissue culture plants, Hemigraphis Green is grown emersed and will shed some of its original leaves as it converts to submersed growth. This is normal. Keep conditions stable and new aquatic leaves will follow within a few weeks.
